Our range of award winning cheeses are made at our
creameries in Cumbria, Pembrokeshire, the Scottish Island of Arran
and the remote Kintyre Peninsula off Scotland’s west coast and
all are made with milk supplied by local dairy farms.
As we know our farmers we can guarantee
that the milk used in our cheese
making is always of the highest
quality. This level of control
combined with the experience
and passion of our cheesemaker’s
is reflected in the number of
accolades won by our cheeses for their excellence,
taste and eating enjoyment.
During the 2008 show season our cheeses
lifted a total of 146 awards, including the prestigious Best Creamery
Cheese at the British Cheese Awards, won by The Lake District Cheese
Company's Extra Mature cheddar.
